Our Artists / Makers

Catalina Sanchez

I am Catalina Sánchez, a bookbinder who handcrafts notebooks with traditional techniques, being mindful of all the little details that will make a long-lasting and exceptional book.

For me, a journal has always been more than a paper good, it has been my long life passion. I understand a journal is the reflection of your work, accomplishments, dreams, emotions, and ideas. It holds and tells your story.

I handcraft all my products myself by hand, from start to finish, preserving the craft of bookbinding, it's a small-batch production with a one-of-a-kind feeling. I make each notebook keeping an eye on every detail, doing each step very carefully, with so much love, hoping that it will become something unique to its owner.

Erin Lightman Londen

What started as just me, hand-making beautiful things for friends from found objects and weathered wood on the banks of Georgian Bay, has grown into a robust collection of carefully hand-made and hand-curated objects that bring joy!

Beverley Tyndall

My name is Beverley Tyndall and my small business is Bubbles By Beverley. My home and workshop are in Hawkestone, Ont. I am a retired elementary school teacher and I  started making all natural products in 2018 as a way to make quality gifts for family and friends. With their support and encouragement, my little business has grown! I hand make all my products using natural, plant-based, ethically sourced quality ingredients, essential oils and organic botanicals. Packaging is minimal and environmentally responsible. I’m happy to partner with Inukshuk Enterprises and thank you for supporting local businesses.

Lindsay

Hey! I’m Lindsay a sign maker from Muskoka. I have been making signs 9ish years now have always loved working with wood. Watching my parents build and paint and create works of art, never did I think I would have followed down the same path but so happy I have. It has allowed me to stay home and work and raise my son. As they say every time someone orders something a maker does a happy dance - it’s true we really do. Do what you love, love what you do❤️

Mikie & Tim Hydzik

Cheerific Sock Shop was started in 2020 by a husband and wife. Due to COVID they had to put a pause on their regular business which was selling merchandise and servicing Cheerleading Competitions. Socks were one of the items they already sold to Cheerleaders but decided it was the perfect time to expand their sock collection and make something for everyone.

Dani McNelly

Hi! My name is Dani. I'm the owner of the Kawartha Sign & Pillow Co. Our little home decor business has a lot of heart; a heart for all things cottagey, a heart for all things rustic and a heart for all things local. Inspired by the beautiful lakes and forests around us, all of our products are designed and hand crafted in the Kawartha Lakes by talented makers and trades people. We love bringing a bit of cottage rustic flare to everything we do.

Harmsens Hockey

John Harmsen started Harmsen's Hockey because he wanted to continue his involvement in the hockey community. With over 25 years of playing, coaching, refereeing and working in hockey equipment sales it's easy for anyone who meets him to see he loves the game and everything it includes. Over the years he has amassed a huge collection of broken unique and vintage high end sticks and figured it was time he did something with them. On top of that, every day hundreds of sticks are being broken around the world and being tossed in the garbage. You don't need to be an expert on the subject to think it's safe to assume carbon fibre and resin isn't the most compostable material on the planet, so why not give it a second life as a product any hockey fan would love to have.

Scott Bryant

Hi, my name is Scott! I hail from Muskoka, however, I now live in Durham and work for the city of Toronto as a paramedic. I've been there for well over a decade. It's been a pleasure working for the city, however, in 2017 I was diagnosed with PTSD. During my treatment, it was recommended that I take up a hobby that requires me to use my hands. Living in the suburbs of Toronto, I don't have much room, however, I was able to fit a lathe and a bandsaw in my garage and I took up pen making. I love turning pens, and use every type of material possible from wood, resin, and even gold! You can check me out on Instagram and TikTok at @bryantsbalpoints.
